We cannot decrypt or otherwise access the content of a message.
We also can not decrypt what physical person actually sent or received a message.

In fact we are probably one of the few company in the world that want to know as little as possible about their users.

Informations we have

Certain information (e.g. a recipient's identifier, an encrypted message body, etc.) is transmitted to us solely for the purpose of transmitting messages. Unless otherwise stated below, this information is only kept as long as necessary to place each call or transmit each message, and is not used for any other purpose.

Informations we store

  • Profile information (e.g. an avatar, username, group name etc) you submit.
  • Hashed value of your email and password.
  • Hashed value of your phone number and those of your contacts if you decide to connect your phonebook.
  • Randomly generated authentication tokens, keys, push tokens, etc. necessary for transmitting a message.

Informations we may share

We do not share your information with companies, organizations, and individuals outside of Dikalo. We will share the information we have with entities outside of Dikalo if we have a good faith belief that access, use, preservation, or disclosure of the information is necessary to:

  • protect against harm to the rights, property, or safety of Dikalo, our users, or the public as required or permitted by law.
  • detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, or technical issues.
  • enforce applicable Terms of Service, including investigation of potential violations
